THE CHALLANGE
Renholdsekspertene had the trucks and the talent, but they didn't have the addresses. They specialize in the tough stuff - graffiti removal, deep cleaning for move-outs, and maintaining shared spaces in commercial buildings. The problem is that the people who buy these services,property managers and housing association boards - are almost impossible to find online. They don't hang out on LinkedIn with "Graffiti Manager" as their job title. They aren't listed in neat little rows on Apollo. So we had a massive gap in our data. We knew the buildings existed, but we had no idea who held the keys.
THE METHOD
I stopped looking for people and started looking for buildings. I knew that every graffiti-covered wall and every empty office space in Oslo had someone responsible for it. So we built our own database from the ground up
We scraped real-time data from Google Maps to identify commercial and retail properties that matched our target profile. Then we cross-referenced that with Norwegian property listings to find the actual owners and management companies. It wasn't just a copy-paste job. We manually verified the data to make sure we weren't just emailing GHOSTS. This allowed us to expand from just 2 narrow campaigns to 5 highly specific ones, targeting everyone from retail space owners to housing co-ops.
THE IMPACT
The "messy" data ended up being our best asset. The campaign we built from the Google Maps scrapers completely outperformed everything else. By targeting the buildings first, we found the decision-makers who actually had a problem to solve right now. We put Renholdsekspertene in front of property managers exactly when they needed help with facade cleaning and maintenance, turning a data desert into their most profitable lead source.
